Different outputs from the same master coil
Slitting lines take master coil in and deliver precise strips out — for service centers, tube mills and metal-forming plants. Leveling and cut-to-length lines flatten coil set and cut sheets to length for stamping, cabinets, appliances and construction.
If you need both strip and sheet from the same coil on one footprint, the site also lists a slitting and cut-to-length combination line (leveling, slitting and cut-to-length on one line).
When you need a slitting line
Choose slitting when the finished product is strip width. Catalogue thickness on Hongzhong slitting models spans light gauge from about 0.3 mm up to thick plate at 16 mm, depending on the model. Coil widths in the published range include 1400 mm and 1600 mm series, plus the compact 850 series.
When you need leveling and cut-to-length
Choose cut-to-length when the finished product is a flat sheet of set length. Published sheet lengths on the site include 500–4000 mm on the rotary cut-to-length line (HZP-1600*3-SS-010, 1600 series) and 500–6000 mm on the flying shear cut-to-length line (1600 series).
A compact automatic leveling and cross-cutting machine (1400 series) covers 0.2–2.0 mm thickness, 1400 mm coil width and 8–20 t coil weight. The heavy-gauge leveling cut-to-length line (1650 series) levels thicker coil up to 6 mm at 1650 mm coil width with a precision leveler.
Rotary shear vs flying shear
On cut-to-length lines, a rotary or flying shear cuts sheets to length and a stacker builds the bundle. Flying shear cut-to-length lines keep the strip moving while the shear cuts, which suits longer sheets and steady throughput. Published flying-shear values include coil width 300–1600 mm, coil weight 8–25 t, sheet length 500–6000 mm, hydraulic or pneumatic shear, and Siemens / ABB control options.
